Prom Queen” writer/artist SHANELL aka SNL to unveil solo record “Play in My Band” on Young Money Summer Tour

Quickly rising pop/rock/urban artist and songwriter SHANELL aka SNL will rejoin Lil Wayne and her Young Money labelmates to debut her new record “Play in My Band” hitting major venues in over 20 cities in the US and Canada on what will be one of the hottest tours of the summer. Most recently known for co-writing the breakthrough rock single Prom Queen, SHANELL will introduce her own unique sound on this tour and continue to perform alongside Lil Wayne to hits and fan favorites like Lollipop, Mrs Officer, Mr. Carter, Misunderstood, and of course Prom Queen. Other artists touring include Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Drake, Jeremih and fellow Young Money artists Mack Maine, Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Nicki Minaj, Lil Twist, and Chuckee. Her forthcoming self-written debut album includes collaborations with cutting edge, hit producers like Bangladesh (A Milli), Catalyst, Soundz, and combines an innocent 80’s inspired pop/rock vibe with a no hold barred approach to her lyrics and subject matter.
